Motivation

If you want a more positive and productive life direction, you must learn to motivate yourself and most importantly, to keep your motivation going.

Motivation is the crucial skill of achievers; a powerful driving force that induces you to “do” what you must do with the intention to reach a specific goal.

The first element needed to become motivated is a definite goal based on a strong desire. Without this, it’s going to be very difficult to motivate yourself and almost impossible to keep the motivation live.

This is why it is much easier to become motivated if you feel passionate about your goal. The opportunity must present an exciting challenge that will get you focused on your tasks until you get to your desired destination.

Some claim that this kind of motivation is extrinsic, as the opportunity needed to activate the motivation presents itself as external stimuli, much like a carrot on a stick scenario. Others think that the motivation must be intrinsic, that it should come form within or it won’t last.

In my opinion one cannot exist without the other. To develop intrinsic motivation you must have an extrinsic factor that motivates you and vice-versa. One feeds on the other.

Think of it this way... motivation is like driving a car from point “A” to point “B.” We jump in the car with a definite goal: getting to point “B”, so we turn the ignition key with that purpose in mind (extrinsic factor.)

This jump starts the engine and it keeps its momentum going by our accelerating and getting closer to point “B”. We follow a well planned and specific road map that will eventually get us to our intended destination (intrinsic factor), and we keep on going until we finally get where we wanted to go.

In other words, you must define what moves you and determine what you want to achieve (extrinsic motivation), in order to jump start your “motivation engine” and initiate the work that will keep the momentum going (intrinsic motivation) while keeping an eye on your target destination.

This culminates in fulfillment and satisfaction. It will raise your self-confidence and motivation kicks in once more to keep on pursuing your new dreams and goals.

This would happen once and again in an ideal world, of course.

Unfortunately we are neither perfect nor car engines. In the real world, it doesn’t matter how big our dreams and how clear our goals, we’ll sometimes see our motivation dwindle down which can happen for a variety of situations.

Wouldn’t it be great if...

  • You could keep your motivation going despite the ups and downs of life?

  • You could achieve fantastic goals in a short period of time by keeping your motivation going?

  • You could program your own messages to automatically remember what you're striving to achieve?

  • If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, I have a surprise gift for you.

The Motivator Software is a magnificent tool that can help you keep your motivation going no matter what.
