Aspiration and Inspiration

We all have aspiration to succeed in more than one area of life... we may aspire to have a great relationship, a prosperous business, a larger bank account, happier children, better health, traveling, a gorgeous home or a number of other things.

Spiritual Cinema Circle

As human beings, it is in our nature to aspire to absolute well being, whatever that represents for each one of us.

One element needed to achieve any aspiration is inspiration. Somehow, when we are inspired, the world around us looks different.

This is due to actual changes in the subconscious mind. When we become inspired, we tap into the true power of our minds, our consciousness expands allowing us to think “outside the box”, to become creative, to break free from “either/or” as we become aware that both options are indeed possible.

Uncertainties and inconsistencies are not longer threatening as they turn into opportunities to engage in innovative ways of thinking.

This is why artists rely on inspiration to create original pieces of art and inventors tap into their inspiration to imagine and create useful inventions. Writers and scientists use inspiration too, as well as the greatest thinkers and Nobel Prize winners of the planet.

The Master of Positive Thinking of all times, Norman Vincent Peale said that when we are inspired, we develop a natural enthusiasm that propels us to do the greatest things in life.

Where does Inspiration come from?

Contemplative observation of nature, practicing Yoga or Tai Chi, and meditation are some techniques to become inspired. Also, listening to music, reading moving stories and watching insightful movies are amongst the most common tools that can trigger inspiration.

If you have ever watched an inspiring movie, you certainly remember the feeling you got afterwards... and it is at that state when our hidden creativity comes to life.
