LOA for Kids

Click Here for the Zero Worry Parenting FREE Owner's ManualEver since I watched “The Secret” for the first time, I immediately thought that the LOA for Kids could be powerful information for children. I wanted my boys to learn these principles of positive living, and I’m sure that if you are a parent, a grandparent, a teacher, a caregiver or have an important little person in your life, this thought has crossed your mind too.

When you think about it, children go to school
to learn academics, but seldom are they taught LOA for Kids and life principles that will help
them live a truly abundant life.

This is where we, as parents and grownups, have the opportunity to create a positive impact that can enhance their life experience. And this is how all of us can collaborate in the foundation to an exceptional next generation.

Children are in the best position to learn how to apply the LOA for Kids effectively because they have not gone through the many life experiences that create the “baggage” we carry as adults.

Generally speaking, children have not had the opportunity to develop limiting beliefs, negative thoughts, and self-sabotaging behaviors that can prevent them from achieving their dreams and their true potential.

In other words, the younger the child the “less polluted” his subconscious mind is, and the easier it is for him to learn and apply the LOA for Kids principles. Let’s also consider that kids have an inquisitive mind and the right attitude to learn and absorb all they can from their surrounding environment. However, there is a fine line between the reality of the Law of Attraction and the innocent imagination of a child, and this is why some parents may be reluctant to teach the Law of Attraction to their kids.

After all, the Law of Attraction implies that anything is possible, but we know that fairy tales, dragons and a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow are not. As grownups we know the difference between having the choice to become the architect of our own lives versus trying to accomplish something that’s totally unrealistic... don’t we?

This is why we must communicate the true meaning of the Law of Attraction concept to our kids, and the younger they are, the more important this is.

Let’s teach them that the LOA for Kids is definitely NOT a magic wand but a way of living, an attitude that guides our steps towards our intended destination or goal according to many factors.

When the right attitude, preparation and action are in place, we really become the architects of our own destiny, which is what we want to convey to our kids so they don’t become disenchanted with the Law of Attraction.

How do we teach the Law of Attraction to our children?

The answer is simple: By living it. When our kids are very young, there is no need to get technical and get them confused with high level words such as manifesting, synchronicities and vibrations.

Let’s keep it simple by adopting this way of living in benefit for all involved. We already know that leading by example is much more effective than talking about things. Living by the Law of Attraction principles is an easy and natural way to instill an "abundance mentality" in our childrens' minds.

Here are a few ideas for you...

  • Praise and Encouragement

Have you ever seen how the face of a kid lights up when you praise him for something he’s done?
    Just like water to a
    thirsty plant, kids thrive
    on encouragement and praise
, both essential elements of the LOA for Kids. Make sure you recognize effort and applaud your children for having accomplished something.

Express your feelings of pride, acceptance and happiness often. When you smile authentically to your child, he will feel joyful. This will raise his vibrations and will start attracting more similar experiences to his life and yours.

  • Positive Outlook

When the going gets though, offer support and show optimism. Let them know that frustration is a feeling and that they have the power to decide how it affects them. There is always something to be learned in every situation, no matter how dark it may appear to them. Explore what went “wrong” and what he can do next time to have a better outcome. This attitude will teach your child that he can focus on the positive in every situation. Being positive is a way of living that can be taught and learned. When we live surrounded by positive people -young and old- high vibrations are present attracting more of the same, enhancing the family life experience as a whole. This is another way in which the LOA for Kids can be applied.

  • Imagination

Kids are a natural for this and with your help they can learn to take imagination to the next level. Talk to them about the importance of intentional visualization -vital part of LOA for Kids- and teach them to use all of their senses while doing it. For instance, if they want a particular toy teach them to see themselves in possession of that toy, playing with it, and feeling thrilled about it. Remember that visualizing with emotion is what ignites the LOA. Let them know what they need to do to get the toy, like getting good grades, helping mom with chores or picking up their room. This is the equivalent to “action” from the child’s point of view.

  • Gratitude

Teach kids to be grateful and happy for what they already have. You can accomplish this by giving examples of your own life or somebody they know. It
is a reality of life that some
    have more than others, and
kids need to learn to value

what they have from their early
    years.

  • Affirmations

Tell your children about the power of words. You can set an example by asking how they feel when you say “I love you”
versus “I don’t like what you did”.

Ask them to describe how they feel with every statement to help them understand the power of words. Then, you can introduce them to affirmations and how these can help their self-confidence.

There is nothing more discouraging than hearing a little one say “I can’t” when they have not even tried. Encourage your kids to always try and talk to them about how repeating positive affirmations can help them accomplish more. You can even show them how to elaborate their own affirmations, such as “I know I can do it, I just need to learn how".

  • Giving and Receiving

We know that sharing is an important skill for young kids to learn. For instance, when we teach a child to share his toys, we are teaching them to let go of the feeling of attachment or possession even if temporarily. When children don’t learn this, they create blockages that may linger later in life.

Giving is a way to share something we already have. We begin by sharing and later on we learn to give and let go. Thus, sharing is a way for children to socialize with their peers in their early years, and as they grow they learn to give and let go. This is important as it helps initiate the cycle of giving and receiving needed to ignite the LOA for Kids and create the flow of abundance in their lives and the lives of those they come in contact with.

  • Focus and Belief

As children grow up and their abilities awaken, teach them the importance of focus in their dreams and desires with a positive attitude and full expectation. Talk to them about the importance of belief (one more tool in applying the LOA for Kids) and how this positive expectation linked to action will lead them to the realization of their dreams.
